Product Overview of Vacuum Boosters
1. The brake vacuum booster amplifies the force applied to the brake pedal via vacuum assistance to push the piston in the master cylinder. The primary requirements for a brake vacuum booster are to maintain excellent sealing performance while also providing sufficient travel. The travel of the vacuum booster must exceed that of the master cylinder by at least 2 mm. In terms of structural design, there are generally two types: single-diaphragm and dual-diaphragm, with both single‑diaphragm and dual‑diaphragm designs available as through-type boosters.
